Servos for Animation, Signals, Switch Machines and More A servo is a miniature gearmotor whose output shaft rotates from one end point to another when an electrical switch is thrown. When used in combination with our Dual Servo Control Board, you can use the integrated push buttons to electronically set the end points and speed of rotation. And two servos can be set to work independently, together, or in sequence. You can even set them to operate continuously back-and forth, like sawing wood. Use them to animate miniature machinery, circus models, railroad switch points, working figures, semaphore signals, crossing gates, uncoupling ramps, garage doors, cranes, automobile lifts, signs, and so much more. Select from 3 popular sizes of servos: standard, miniature and micro; see specifications below. Circuitry requires 9-16v DC power supply and toggle switches; see below for suggestions. Micro Size Servo 3/4 inch long x 5/16 inch wide x 3/4 inch tall*. Stall torque: 0.6 kg-cm. Includes 4 horns (actuator arms), mounting screws, and 4 inch cable with standard connector.
